The name for ACORD was based on this Bible verse: A cord of three strands is not easily broken. –Ecclesiastes 4:12
Please note that the Missions Committee is continuing its calling to help local families and asks that you make it a habit to bring items to give to ACORD and leave them in the bins provided outside the Preston Cutler Room. (Below you will also find some ways you may help ACORD.) We will be preparing a list of items that are most needed soon. In the meantime, we learned on Sunday that tea and coffee are very popular so perhaps you can pick up an extra supply when you are next in the supermarket (fair trade would be wonderful!). Blessings to you all who helped and will help us as we share our resources with our neighbors. Penny Wingate for the Missions Committee
