Christ Church is blessed to have a rich offering of Anglican services throughout the church year. Each Sunday we honor God via Silent Meditation and three different services of Holy Eucharist.
Throughout the year we offer special liturgies that include Evensong, the Advent Procession of Carols, the annual Solemn Requiem for All Souls, and a full slate of Holy Week services, including The Great Vigil of Easter, which are favorites with both members and visitors from throughout Boston’s North Shore. Sundays (beginning August 29) ...New date for fall service times
Adult Education begins September 12 - Parish Hall Sunday School - registration and meet the teachers, September 12 in the Preston Cutler Room; classes begin September 19 Weekdays
The Chapel (pictured) is the setting each Monday through Friday for Morning Prayer, at 7:30 a.m., and Evening Prayer, at 5:30 p.m. This service of readings of prayers, praises, psalms, and other Scripture readings, is taken from the Book of Common Prayer, and historically has been an important part of Anglican spirituality. We read the service from the Prayer Book, so anyone unfamiliar with these services can follow along easily. Each service lasts about 20 minutes. The door to the Chapel is open in the morning and evening, and we sit in the choir section. The chapel is a beautiful, peaceful, quiet space in which to meditate, pray, and listen to God.
