Morning & Evening Prayer
Bible and Breakfast
Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast" (John 21:12).
Ephesians
Sunday mornings, 9 - 10 a.m., Parish Hall
We warmly invite you to join us in the Parish Hall each Sunday morning. Jack and Robin Davis host breakfast and a Bible study – food for the body and food for the soul.
8:00 worshippers come out of their service at 9:00 to a bountiful breakfast awaiting them. 11:00 worshipers come to church early. People whose paths might otherwise not cross sit down together for an hour each Sunday. You may be new to Bible study or you may have read and studied the Bible for years; people of all ages and Bible experience come together Sunday morning and enjoy one another's company and enjoy studying the Bible together.
Newcomers are always welcome. Class members vary in age from elementary school age, to teens, through seasoned citizens. Some parents and children come together and are warmly encouraged to do so. The class format includes lecture, discussion, and Q & A. We have hands-on Legos for those who like to multi-process during our time together.

The 9 to 10 a.m. hour serves the needs of those attending the eight o'clock service, choir members who warm up at 10 a.m., Sunday school teachers, and others wanting to start their day of worship at Christ Church sharing food, fellowship, and the Word together. We have a lot of fun and enjoy being together week after week.
A member of the parish and a Gordon-Conwell Seminary graduate, Robin Davis, the primary Bible teacher, strives to bring insights from theology, biblical geography (she has traveled and lived in Israel twice), archaeology, as well as Old and New Testament studies, while including maps, visual illustrations, and hands-on objects as we carefully work through the passages of the Word of God together.
