In this work Brian is assisting in all aspects of the organ playing for liturgies as well as accompanying and conducting the Choir of Christ Church in rehearsal and in worship as requested by the Director of Music. Brian is not a stranger to Christ Church, having played voluntaries and choir accompaniments during 2009-10. Brian is native of Albany, New York, and is a senior at Gordon College. He is pursuing a degree in Music Performance with a concentration in Organ at Gordon where his principal teachers have been Douglas Marshall and Roy Brunner. He sings with the Gordon College Choir and works with the Chapel Office as an organist and a sacred music intern. Previously, Brian served as organist at First Presbyterian Church in Ipswich and at Grace Episcopal Church in Lawrence. Christ Church is the happy beneficiary of Brian’s desire to gain additional supervised experience within the Episcopal tradition, and, his uncommon generosity in offering his services to the parish voluntarily. |
